Herkulův chrám na vrchu u citadely
Jde o nejpůsobivější římskou stavbu na vršku ammánské citadely. Podle nápisu byl chrám postaven, když Geminius Marcianus byl guvernérem provincie Arábie (162-166 po Kr.). Chrám je ze stejného období jako římské divadlo (amfiteátr) pod ním.

The Temple of Hercules on the top of the citadel
This is the most impressive Roman building on the top of the Amman citadel. According to an inscription, the temple was built when Geminius Marcianus was governor of the province of Arabia (162-166 AD). The temple dates from the same period as the Roman theatre (amphitheatre) below it.
